• Produced at Watervliet Arsenal originally.
• Constructed of White Oak with fittings of steel, ductile iron and wrought iron.
• Designed to carry the 12-Pounder Mountain Howitzer, 2.9-inch Pack Parrott and should be ideal for a Confederate Mountain Rifle. This is a very robust and sturdy gun platform. A copy of only one known surviving example exists in a private collection from which this carriage was duplicated.
